The Rise of Motorsport Lifestyle Communities

Écurie Motor Club published an interesting article this week on the evolution of private motorsports clubs.

The article argues that the next generation of private tracks will increasingly be about more than driving. Membership clubs are combining circuits with private garages, residences, clubhouses, dining, vehicle services, corporate events and other amenities to create full automotive communities.

It's a trend we've been following closely at Green Flag.

Properties including The Thermal Club, The Concours Club, The Motor Enclave and the planned P1 Motor Club demonstrate exactly this.

Private motorsports clubs are increasingly applying the same ‘golf club’ model with cars and racetracks at the center.

Hospitality is already one of the next major pieces of that evolution. As these properties become destinations rather than simply places to drive, lodging, food and beverage, and events become a natural extension of the experience.
